The deputy commander of the 8th Army, Maj. Gen. Vladimir Petrovich Frolov, died when combating against Ukraine, Russian information stores documented, citing St. Petersburg’s administration’s press support.
“Today we say goodbye to a real hero. Vladimir Petrovich Frolov died a heroic demise in fight with Ukrainian nationalists,” Governor Alexander Beglov stated, Russian state news agency Tass noted, citing the push provider.
“He sacrificed his lifetime so that small children, ladies and the elderly in the Donbas would no longer hear bomb explosions. To halt waiting for dying and leaving residence , to say goodbye as if it were the very last time.”
The governor identified as Frolov a “true patriot” and “brave,” introducing he “fulfilled his military and human duty,” according to St. Petersburg online newspaper Fontanka.
