LORENA, Texas (KWTX) – A nearby teenager has turned her passion for baking into large organization.

Riley Walker, 15, of Lorena, is the owner of Riley’s Cookie Co., a business enterprise providing decorated sugar cookies which she started out when the COVID-19 pandemic led to a shutdown in 2020.

Riley is now offering five to ten dozen cookies for each 7 days out of her household.

“I’ve often needed to study how to make decorated sugar cookies,” Riley reported.

“During the shelter in location, I decided to teach myself how to make them.”

Riley has usually been gifted with wonderful handwriting and a knack for drawing and baking, a enthusiasm she bought from her mom and grandmother.
